Hi, I'm Yulia!
I'm an Edmonton wedding and portrait photographer from Alberta, Canada. I want to create elegant, romantic, and stylish photos you can cherish forever.
I love animals, travelling, and good coffee. I enjoy spending time in local cafés and experiencing the place and moment I am in. Besides being a photographer, I am also a passionate painter, enthusiastic gamer, and loving mother to two beautiful cats, Chip and Tina.
Who I am and how it all started.
I am a professional wedding and lifestyle photographer with 10 years of experience. I am based in Edmonton, Alberta as my spouse and I have recently moved here to pursue his military career. I was born and raised in Central Asia and bring a unique, international perspective on photography and creative editing.
I fell in love with photography from a very young age. I was taking pictures of my close friends on my Sony Ericsson phone (you know, the flip one from the Mesozoic Era) and I never considered starting a photography business until I received my first DSLR from my father. I was on cloud 9 from excitement, and offered my photography services to anyone and everyone until I got my very first paying client in 2012. Since then, I worked hard towards building what I have now.

Let me tell you a bit more about me, beyond being a photographer.
When I don't take pictures you can find me on a breath taking hike, absorbing the sights. When I am unable to do that, I frequent the gym, local cafes, and cooking in my kitchen. I enjoy late nights spending time with my husband, my two cats, and a good movie.
I have been fortunate to live in several European countries before I moved to Canada. Because of this, I love travelling and experiencing new countries and cultures. When I travel, I try to avoid high-tourist destinations and prefer quieter and more authentic sites, where I feel I can experience a greater depth of the culture. Travelling has been a major part of my life, and is something I hold dear to me. I hope I can continue to do this not only to learn more about the world, but to grow as a person.

I believe it is important for any professional to not only be great at what they do but also be passionate about it. I want to help you preserve your special moments so you can share these beautiful memories with your children and grandchildren. To tell them how it all started and what life was like when you were growing up. Your photos will be one of your most cherished and dear possessions.
