Vlada and I met back in 2016 during our very first photoshoot in Regina, Saskatchewan. Since then I've been capturing photos of her amazing family, and some of the photos were even published in two photography magazines! She is not only a client of mine, but also a model and a friend. Vlada always comes prepared to our photoshoots - she knows how to dress fashionably and appropriately according to my branding colours, she acts natural and is being herself in front of my camera, and her children are always ready for our sessions physically and mentally (they even have fun riding skateboards and scooters during our sessions).

When she booked her most recent photoshoot with Arphea Photography, we decided that it is time to step away from parks and greenery, and try something different. I suggested a few themes/locations in Regina where we could go for our photoshoot, and Vlada picked a rooftop. Unfortunately, my go-to parkade was permanently closed, but we found another one in downtown Regina - and it was even better and taller than the one I originally wanted to choose. Those who live in Regina know that we don't have a gorgeous skyline, however, we have a breathtaking sky that I used for our advantage.

As Vlada's family photographer, my goal was to capture her family as it is - loving, fun, goofy, and energetic. We started our photoshoot with a few posed photos, and then I let them be themselves, ride scooters and skateboards, and just have a good time as I was capturing these moments and turning them into warm memories.

Vlada, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for asking me to capture your amazing family again! I loved every second of our photoshoot, and it was such a blast.
